Our foster carers are the backbone of our organisation without them we wouldn't exist. 

We are always on the lookout for more carers to open their hearts and homes to a rescue dog while they wait for their new family.


SUPPORT FOR OUR FOSTER CARERS 

  • We provide phone support to all of our foster carers. If your foster dog becomes lost, sick or is injured in any way, we’re ready to help.
  • Provide treatments monthly to protect our dogs against fleas, worms, ticks and heartworm. 
  • Collar, tag, food and other necessary items are provided for each rescue dog.

ABOUT FOSTER CARERS

To help you decide if fostering is something you would like to do, please consider the following points. 
  • Be prepared to provide your foster dog with ongoing socialisation and behaviour training. (We do have access to a trainer who is only an email or phone call away).
  • Provide regular grooming for your foster dog. (If you are unable to do this, we will arrange for it to be done).
  • Walk your foster dog regularly.
  • Have a safe, secure, and fully fenced yard.
