Name: Turtle

Sex: Male

Breed: French Bulldog

Age: 6 Years

Size: Small

A one in a million dog, seeks one in a million family!

Turtle is a fun, fabulous and super cute, little squish face Frenchie! He is always ready for a good time, loves to run, lovesss to play with toys and lovesssss to curl up next to you on the couch.

Turtle was recently diagnosed with Spina Bifida a condition he has had since birth, this means Turtle has a malformation in his lower spine which affects his bowel and as a result he is both urinary and faecally incontinent. Turtle has been this way since he was born, it is his normal and he is completely oblivious as to wether he’s doing a number 1 or 2 but this is manageable with the use of nappies!

Turtle currently wears a nappy when he is inside and is crate trained for night time. During the day he spends some time, nappy free outside and provided he’s got his toys and a bit of sunshine, he’s a pretty happy camper.

The neurologist at SASH do not believe that Turtle will have any further complications from his condition, he can run, jump, spin and flip without issue, in fact Turtle is quite agile for a dog built like a brick. Turtle doesn’t bark but he sure does snore, he is a super sweet boy that gets on with every dog, cat and person he meets.

We know that it’s going to take someone pretty amazing to adopt a special needs dog like Turtle boy but we know whoever does will be fiercely rewarded with a whole pile of sweet Frenchie love!

Turtle comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm treated and has had a dental and treatment for skin and ear infections. The adoption fee is $495. Turtle is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Turtle please email Denise

Name: Milky

Sex: Female

Breed:  Staffy Mix

Age: 11 Months

Size: Large

Holy Cow! Meet Miss Milky!

This black and white beauty is a social, fun and happy go lucky girl who is looking for the perfect forever family to go adventuring with.

Milky is almost a year old, she is a medium size Staffy mix who enjoys getting out and about and playing with her friends. A truly stunning dog, Milky turns heads wherever she goes.

We would love to see Milky with a family who will love and adore her as much as we do, still very much a silly, goofy puppy at heart, Milky does require a committed family who will continue to show her through gentle and kind leadership how to be the best dog she can be.

Milky would love a home with a friendly, confident male dog friend but could go as an only dog provided she was not left at home all day on her own. Milky needs daily exercise and would benefit from enrichment toys like puzzle feeders and kongs. She is housetrained, has a short shedding coat that requires minimal maintenance and sleeps well through the night.

Milky comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm treated and has had a dental and treatment for skin and ear infections. The adoption fee is $495. Milky is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Milky please email Denise detailing the home you could provide.

Princess Pea

Name: Princess Pea

Sex: Female

Breed: Jack Russell Mix

Age: 11 Years

Size: Small

Meet Princess Pea! This gorgeous old girl is looking for a home to retire to, she is ever so sweet and gentle and loves nothing more than curling up next to you on the couch. Princess Pea enjoys the simple things in life, casual strolls around the neighbourhood, delicious dinners and a warm bed. Currently in foster care with two other small dogs, Princess Pea would suit a home with either another small dog for company or as an only dog provided she had company more often than not, she previously has lived with a cat with no issues. Princess Pea is a quiet old soul and we feel she is best suited to a calm home where chilling out is the number one priority! Princess Pea must have access inside as she pleases, she has a short shedding coat that is fairly low maintenance.

Health notes: Upon arrival into care Princess Pea had to a have a few lumps removed, two were benign and nothing to be worried about, one was a a cutaneous

Haemangiosarcoma likely caused by extensive sun exposure so her new family will need to make sure to limit her sun baking and perhaps to apply sunscreen to her belly in the warmer months.

Princess Pea comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm treated and has had a dental and treatment for skin and ear infections. The adoption fee is $495. Princess Pea is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Princess Pea please email Denise

Name: Imogen

Age: 1 Year

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Her delightful torti coat really makes her stand out from the crowd. A shy girl, Imogen would do well in a quite indoor only home with another confident cat for company… in fact her foster brother Jethro who also happens to be looking for a home would be the perfect match! The two have formed quite a bond in foster care and can most often be found lazing around together, grooming one another and acting like a beautiful bunch of love birds! Imogen is past the cheeky kitten stage, has lived with dogs both big and small and is ready and waiting for that forever home!

At the time of Imogen’s adoption she will be desexed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and have flea protection. The adoption fee is $50. Imogen is not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). If you would like further information on Imogen, please email Denise

Name: Sundae

Sex: Female

Breed: Cattle

Age: 1

Size: Medium

Sweet, delicious Sundae.

A three legged, whirlwind with a big personality and an even bigger smile.

Sundae is the life of every party and she hasn’t yet met a person she can’t make laugh. Sundae arrived into care as a young pup with an old unattended fracture in her front right leg, after vet investigation and specialist consultation, it was deemed inoperable and her best bet moving forward was to have her leg amputated as it caused her considerable pain. Adjusting to life on three legs was a breeze for Sundae, she gets around without issue, runs like the wind and whilst prone to some pretty impressive high speed stacks, she just gets up and keeps on going.

Living in a very busy multi dog household, Sundae is mostly found wrestling her foster brothers and sisters or snoozing on the couch. Whilst she thinks she is completely invincible, her new family would need to sometimes encourage her to take it easy and remind her that her body is a temple and not a crash test dummy.

Sundae enjoys daily walks, she can pull on leash as she needs to keep up a bit of a momentum in order to stay upright but she does have reasonable recall and does well off leash. Whilst Sundae generally gets along with other dogs, she can be a bit of a ‘full on’ greeter and is learning some manners when meeting new dogs out and about, she is not really a dog-park-dog and is better suited being walked in large open areas where she can be encouraged to make good choices.

Sundae would greatly benefit from a family that has dog experience, even better in working breed experience. Sundae is very sure of herself and can be quite clear in what she likes and dislikes. Whilst she thinks she can run for days, her body does get tired and she needs to be carefully monitored so she doesn’t overdo it and negatively impact her remaining front leg. Sundae has been to semi-regular physio and massage appointments, something we feel her new family should keep up with to help keep her comfortable and in tip top shape. She loves children but she can be a bit much for small kids, so feel it’s best everyone in the family is in the double digits.

Her short shedding coat is easily maintained and only requires the occasional brush and bath, she enjoys her time outdoors but she’s very much an inside dog and as such must have access inside as she pleases. Sundae is one in a million, she is a dog you simply can’t forget and her home must be just as awesome as she is.

Sundae comes desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, heartworm tested. The adoption fee is $495. Sundae is not available for adoption outside of NSW (Except ACT). If you would like further information on Sundae please email Denise
